Final International University teachers and students attended and presented papers at the “12th Pre-School Education Student Congress-2017” organized by Sakarya University Education Faculty, Department of Basic Education, and held between the 24^th and 26^th April. The symposium provided an opportunity for FIU students to participate in discussions about pre-school education and benefit from presentations and contemporary research in the field.

Final International University students presented a paper entitled: “How can we proceed from Theory to Practice and from Practice to Theory in Pre-School Teaching Education? Learn by Living Workshop.” Canser Çolak, Fatma Nur Kanlıca, Fikriye Kötüce, Leman Tatlıcı, Seda Küçük, Seval Öztürk presented on the first day of the conference, and Fikriye Kötüce and Canser Çolak on the second day.

Final International University Pre-school Teacher Education Faculty member Professor Dr. Belma Tuğrul delivered a presentation entitled "Domino effect: Are you ready to take responsibility for becoming the first and unforgettable teacher?" at the opening panel of the congress. Prof. Tuğrul is one of the most important names in the field of pre-school education of Turkey, with vast experience and numerous academic studies in the field.
