The world's oldest intelligence and strategy game - GO, which dates back 4000 years, is being taught by expert trainers at FIU.
Requiring strategic planning and tactical calculations, the game is played on a 19x19 board with 361 stones, 181 black and 180 white and is based on the goal of gaining points by placing the stones at the intersection of the lines on the board and capturing the opponent’s stones. The player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner
In a statement from FIU, th University emphasised the need for diversity in the educational program and the widening of perspectives through differentiated mental and physical activity.
